Dear Rising Star family,

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and are taking many preventative and proactive measures to ensure the safety of the teachers, students, parents, staff and anyone that attends a Rising Star competition and want you to know that the your health safety is our utmost priority.

Currently, we are allowing the venue to mandate whether it is safe to hold an event.

We will continue with the following guidelines:

●	Backstage only the performers and one (1) studio representative will be allowed
●	We will have multiple awards ceremonies throughout the day to help with traffic flow

What is Rising Star doing to help?

●	Hand sanitizer will be available at our Sales Area, Registration Area, Backstage Check-In and our Trophy Table
●	Sanitizing wipes will be available at our Registration Area and the Backstage Check-In
●	We will verify with the facility before arrival that they have thoroughly cleaned the building from the last renter and have plenty of soap (we will have backup with us in case facility run out).  Also verifying that they have enough employees to handle making sure the bathrooms are able to be sanitized regularly throughout the day.

Suggestions:

●	Bring hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes for use in the dressing rooms and auditorium
●	Wash hands thoroughly and multiple times a day
●	Use the dressing room space(s) as intended
●	Encourage your dancer(s) to follow personal health guidelines

Rising Star is hoping to be able to hold all of our competitions this season.  If a situation arises where a venue needs to cancel, we will work diligently to find a new facility to hold our competition.  If this cannot happen, Rising Star will notify you as soon as it has been determined that we cannot find a venue and refund all money!

We understand your concerns and want to also prevent the spread of COVID-19 and want you to be assured of the preventative measures we are doing to make our event safe for all that attend.  We will continue to monitor the situation and will review future events as necessary.
